The Agency is very good at providing information to those who need it, but I believe the delivery of that information could be improved upon. SSA has a YouTube channel, and It has plenty of well-organized information, but what it's lacking is that certain personable, even possibly entertaining value of delivery (and shorter video times). SSA recently releases a report that provides good information on Surveys for Race Data on OASDI and SSI Programs: A Comparison of Four Major Surveys. You can review it at: https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/rsnotes/rsn2016-01.html.
Researchers may access the four surveys discussed in the report directly via their public-use micro datasets available on their respective websites.
